If at first you don’t succeed and all that… We’re trying BBQ pizza again. This time we’re using the metal tray that came with the kit, rather than risking another pizza stone.
And the BBQ gets set up: chimney starters of coals, then C shape of wood around the back.
And FIRE gets us to 350C+ temperatures.
Toppings: fig & goats cheese + pepperoni & jalps.
Seconds in the oven.
And fuck yeah! Looks like proper wood-fired pizza.
Slice and serve.
Eat.
MMmmm pizza pie.
Yeah it’s pizza pie, not crisp base thin crust pizza: but when we tried that it broke the pizza stone!
Success. It looks good. When the pizza/BBQ has cooled down slightly, do the cats gather around for a warming?
