After I’d harvested the courgettes this morning Soph pointed out I’d missed one.

A great example of not seeing the wood for the trees!

So we’re going to fill up our last two pickling jars with a pickle based on this Allotment Garden recipe, mostly using veg from our garden!

So that single courgette takes two pans…

As it reduced, taking a few ours, we managed to get it into one pan. And it went really dark…

We’ve run out of Kilner jars thanks to all our pickling, so it was into the vinegar jars!

And once again, three months until we can eat it… This winter we will be eating lots of cheese to get through all our pickles! Mmm…
