BBC Good Food October 2014 p41 has an innocent looking recipe for a fruit upside-down cake, but it turns out to be a very simple all-in-one cake mix that includes ground almonds that is an amazing cake for upside-downing.

Soph made it today with some greengages we had in the fridge. It would probably look better with a brighter coloured fruit, but the taste is just sublime! Which is why a number of pieces got eaten before any pictures got taken :)
