Prawn Ramen

We loved the ramen we did previously: healthy, quick and tasty! So we’re doing it again, with added frozen prawns and whatever veg I find at one of the Chinese supermarkets near work, along with things we found in the garden.

We’ll fry off mushrooms before they go into the soup:

  • Brown beech mushrooms
  • Oyster mushrooms
  • Garlic

For the soup:

  • 1L Fish stock
  • Teriyaki sauce
  • Chilli flakes
  • Soba noodles
  • Defrosted prawns

Additional bits added to the soup at the end will be:

  • Bean sprouts
  • Red chilli, sliced
  • Chinese spinach
  • Garden peas
  • Chilli oil

For the topping:

  • Hard boiled eggs, halved
  • Spring onions
  • Garden radish


It was good… but not as great as last time. Maybe it needs some soy and lime juice next time?
