We have some fish in the freezer that’s rather out of date. Not going to kill us, but it’s not going to be high quality, so it needs some flavours.
Butter is a flavour. As is capers. So that’s the sauce. Add in and we have a dinner.
Use plum tomatoes and dry them sliced on kitchen towels.
Fry up onions, garlic, etc, while potatoes boil
Fry up the fish.
Then lots of sauce making, frying tomatoes, and other things that mean that taking pictures didn’t happen. Then serve!
Mmmm,,, nice. OK fish wasn’t great, but we knew that was the case. The sauce and the fried tomatoes however? YUM!
Looks a jolly hearty meal. I prefer fish any day, over meat.
