No way I’m blogging all this in detail: just look at the pictures…
So Thursday night, lots of sourdough prep happens for loaves, domes, baguettes, sticks, brioches…
This is going to require a lot of different baking trays, domes, etc…
So…. BREAD!
Then it’s time to get on my bike and pick up the beer from the local brewery.
So… pastry: 4 puff (easy) 2 pattie (easy) and one pâté sucrée… 4 rerolls, fucking still not working… Ended up pushing it into the pie tray…
Fridge is waaay too full. Eggs may have to sit outside for a while.
Some eggs get used for brioche French toast breakfast :D
Then we start making food.
And make more food.
Plus sausage rolls, which were a favourite.
Beer has to go outside in barrels of water.
Chicken gets smoked on the BBQ — another favourite.
Most of the food fits on the table, although cakes had to stay in the kitchen, where I forgot to take pictures of them :(
Then people started turning up, and much food was eaten, and much drunk. Then it gets a bit hazy…
Then today we went for a roast before the cleaning up had to be done…
Wow!!! What a marathon effort. Your guests certainly had plenty to eat. Well done for all that organising and baking.
