Roast Tribbles on Klingon Gagh in a Blood Wine Sauce

Dinner today is from The Kitchen Overlord’s Illustrated Geek Cookbook.

Specifically it’s a Star Trek themed meal featuring:

  • Roast Tribbles (p27)
    • Oven baked meatballs with a shredded coconut & cornflake coating

    • Tagliatelle, made with my rye sourdough
  • Blood Wine Sauce
    • Tomato and wine sauce

So yeah: it’s spaghetti and meatballs. But as a geek I’m enjoying this culinary cosplay!

The tribbles were a little dry, maybe a panade would have helped. Thankfully the blood wine sauce made up for any dryness, so it all worked out!
