Steak with cheese in a baguette – what’s not to like?
So I’m making up a batch of sourdough baguettes and following this recipe from Cook’s Illustrated, which is basically toast baguettes, thinly slice steak, fry, add cheese until it melts, mix up and put in baguettes, server with caramelised onions, cornichons and pickled jalps.
Well… cheese, meat & bread… how can you go wrong!? Of course it was great :)
