Given the success with the healthy makeover of sweet and sour chicken, I thought I’d try the same on crispy chilli beef. Basically as I’d already upped the chilli in the sweet & sour… I used exactly the same recipe on beef, but chopped the veg smaller and server with noodles!
So it all looks pretty similar on the hob.
Then everything gets thrown in the wok to mix.
And serve!
And yeah… it’s a pretty good simulacrum of take-away crispy chilli beef, and as it hasn’t been battered or deep-fried, it’s a darn site healthier!
