There’s a big difference between tuna from a can, and a nice tuna steak. Or there should be! The instructions on the ‘Taste the Difference’ tuna steaks we bought said to fry for three minutes on each side! May as well get the canned stuff if you’re going to do that…
As we’ll only be cooking for a minute on each side, we need to get everything else prepped first, starting with roasted veg couscous.
Then corn fried tomatoes.
Then for the tuna steaks we’re rubbing them with some mustard before quickly frying.
Served with lemon wedges and we’ve got a not entirely unhealthy lunch! The tuna was so juicy – well worth doing this occasionally.
I’ll give your recipe a try as I’ve got some “real” tuna steaks in my freezer
